Korea Federation of Business & Professional Women
BPW KOREA is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that has taken a leading role in eliminating discrimination against women and in promoting women's rights. Founded in 1968, 20 local clubs and
over 2,000 members are active throughout the country.
BPW is one of the most influential women's organizations in the world with more than 100 member countries around the world. Founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1930, we have been making efforts to improve
the professionalism and leadership of women.
BPW KOREA has been working to improve the social status of women in the last half-century. Although there have been many specific achievements, Korea's gender equality index is still comparatively low and
the gender wage differentials are still significant.
BPW KOREA will accelerate its efforts to develop professionalism and leadership of women for the forthcoming fourth industrial revolution era. We will take the lead in resolving the difficulties that women are facing by gathering opinions from professional women working in various fields.
We appreciate your continued support and generosity in the work to create a society in which men and women have equal roles and influence without discrimination.
