Introduction
On February 20, 2009, the BPW Korea Federation was designated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government as a management organization for the Dongjak Women's Human Resources Development Center, and in June 2009, the center was moved to the Isu building and held an opening ceremony. The Dongjak Women's Human Resource Development Center is a facility aimed at supporting women's vocational skills development, feasibility and entrepreneurship. It was established on the basis of the Basic Law of Women's Development, the Women's Development Basic Ordinance in Seoul, and Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of Women-related Facilities in Seoul Metropolitan City. The Dongjak Women's Human Resource Development Center provides support services such as worker search and job search, women-friendly business environment support, childcare burden reduction, customized business start-up support education business, and employment consultation. We also support social and cultural activities for local residents and practice sharing to realize community welfare. In order to strengthen employment support, it has been working on the joint development of vocational ability development training programs through the signing of MOUs with 107 related organizations and companies. |
