International Internships

BPW Korea made a proposal to conduct BPW International Internship Program as a career guidance program to BPW International
(President Pat Harrison) in September, 2000. The Program, which is the first internship program of BPW International,
implemented in January 2001.

The program has been supported by the three organizations: financial supporting byf Ewha Womans University (International Administrative Department’s Alumnae Association); coordinating by BPW Korea between Ewha Womans Univ. and BPW Int’l ; and providing internship opportunity by BPW Int’l. Student recommended by Ewha Womans Univ. after skill tests was selected after interview with BPW Korea and BPW Int’l. and was dispatched to BPW International Office. While the intern was working with BPW staff and joining BPW activities, she could learn leadership and global mind from them as well as understanding of BPW’s vision and global activities.



Duties of Intern
- Construct/update database of BPW member
- Edit BPW Newsletter
- Manage BPW Int’l Website
- Assist Accounting and office works
- Assist BPW Int’l Congress organizing staff
